Gordon the Younger
Gordon was born on his father’s estate Lions Head in the year of the Great Comet. Lions Head lies near the city of Vidor in the foothills of the Hotash Mountains. The estate produces tea and tobacco and has brought riches and power to the family.
In his younger years he roamed and hunted on the vast estate. His strenuous activity enhanced his strength and stamina and his hunting grew more success as he learned the bow and became a marksman.
His father tried to get him interested in the business but he hungered for adventure. He left the estate and headed north to Tarsis. There he became an apprentice to an arms maker and soon learned the art of weapons making. His masterpiece was a pair of pistols small enough to be hidden in the pockets of his waist coat. After three years of weapons making he decided to travel to the City of Ptolus to seek adventure.
After arriving in Ptolus he secured living quarters in the Guildsman District. He joined the crew of the sailing ship Sea Wolf for a few months but this wasn’t the adventure he was looking.
After his seafaring Gordon set up a small weapons shop in the Guildsman District. By day he ran his weapons shop and by night he took in the local color by frequenting various pubs in the city. He listened to the talk to get a gauge of the people and the times of the big city. He roamed the city streets and became familiar with the city’s layout.
Gordon made friends of solders and squires of noblemen looking for an opportunity to join an expedition to other lands in the Empire.
